The browser in Android is more stripped than the one in N900.
Peacekeeper, SunSpider and V8 tests would be nice to see though.

I am not sure either, but I am pretty sure the Cortex A8 contributes, but I also noticed that the N900 browser is faster than other devices running the same processor, such as the iPhone 3Gs, so I dont know why its so freaggin fast :)

it is so hard to find out which one is faster unless they are both on the same network in the same city at the exact same time. all those factors go into play when trying to calculate internet speeds. I love the transmission bit torrent client!!! i just learned what bit torrents were a few months ago and i download them straight to my n900!!!! that is amazing. all the music I paid good money for and lost from itunes when my pc crashed is all coming back to me legally some how!!!! o.0
