  • This just took me 30 minutes of bugging around in Keynote, then I find this and it is fixed in 2 minutes, why oh why is this so dumb? I added two wedges to a pie and the title got shadowed. Also the COLORS of the wedges are hard to handle, at least from a designers point of view who needs this to look good as well! Anyways, thanks!

  • THANK YOU!!!!!! I was going crazy to find this adjustment. Take good care :O)

  • Very useful, save me a lot of time!

  • Thank you! I followed perfectly. I completely agree that the font mechanics are not intuitive; not in the least. I had the same issue when composing an email after pasting text from another source. I could not figure out how to reset the font. Torley, your video was TERRIFIC.

Oh, and to sco08y (posted comment below), you suck! Give respect, and don't lay down the hate. Torley made our lives easier, and therefore richer. You add ZERO value. Be gone

  • If you're doing this type of video, think about what you're going to say before you say it.

  • Ahh, I hate YouTube for not allowing me to post urls. You'll have to look for this yourself.

I have forwarded this vid to Mac OSX Hints, they published it today. They also said it works like this on all other iWork apps.

So search for macosxhints and then Keynote double shadows.

  • Wow that really is a bit stupid. Sloppy job they did there making that.

I still prefer Power Point 07 for powerpoint what i used for allmost for ever. Mac not a big fan of. Though I still would love to get my hands on a mac just to play with it for about 2 weeks, you know?

  • I just leave shadow off by default. Though Keynote is better than Power Point ever will be. What video capture are you using to record these tutorials and pointers?

  • Hmm next time I'm stuck on my mac I'll just start randomly expanding windows of which I think would be the solution to the problem.
