damn, it's been over a month since i last posted i'm so sorry about that, I've just been extremely busy with school, but i'm posting now!!! :) (and guess what?!?! 9 days until my 21st birthday!!) :)

~~~~~~~~~~
We walked up to the second floor and I could hear Kristin walking around the apartment although I was secretly hoping she would have been gone for some reason. Kristin turned to look at me and Joe when we walked in.
"You're finally back," Kristin said when she saw us.
"I wasn't gone that long," I reminded her.
"I don't know why you waited so long to say yes to him because he is hot," Kristin whispered in my ear as we went to sit down.
"I have my reasons," I whispered back.
"It's nice to meet you," Joe said to Kristin as we all sat down.
"It's nice to finally meet you too," Kristin replied. "So how did you guys meet?" she asked; the first of many questions she would ask; I had no doubt.
"We met at a party," Joe informed her.
"Wait, hold on a second. You're saying you met Maggie at a party?" Kristin asked surprised.
"Not exactly. My neighbor was having a party and I was sitting outside on the beach," I explained.
"And I thought she was at the party, so I thought I would make sure she was having a good time. Turns out she was just having a bad day and needed to think," Joe continued.
"Aw, you guys told that story together like you've rehearsed it, that's so cute," Kristin commented to which I just rolled my eyes.
"We can be in sync sometimes," Joe replied. Thanks for that comment Joe.
"So, I have a bunch of questions for you guys, mostly for Joe," Kristin added.
"I'm sure you do," I replied sarcastically.
"Give me your best shot," Joe replied confidently. I really think he should be a little more worried than he appears to be.
"So why did it take you so long to say yes?" Kristin asked me.
"I had my reasons. Plus, I wasn't quite ready to have a boyfriend and my parents would literally kill me if I had a boyfriend. They probably still will if they find out," I explained.
"Why is that?" Kristin asked confused.
"They have some trust issues when it comes to guys," I replied.
"I can attest to that. Her mom freaked out on me when she saw me hanging out with her. I was scared shitless," Joe agreed.
"I know that Maggie doesn't really talk to guys, well at least at school she doesn't, so how did you get her to even talk to you?" Kristin asked.
"Pure persistence and determination," Joe replied.
"Bordering on annoyance," I added.
"Only bordering? I'm pretty sure you were beyond annoyed at me," Joe commented.
"Wow, you guys had such a loving relationship at the beginning," Kristin commented sarcastically.
"Yeah, it took me a while to realize that he wasn't going to give up so I should at least be civil," I replied.
"So I have one last question," Kristin told us. "What are you guys planning to do tonight? I need to know if I should find somewhere else to go for the night," Kristin said with a wink. There's the embarrassing question I was waiting for, although not the particular one I thought of.
"Ew, not going to happen," I replied.
"Well, that was a lovely reaction, but yeah, that's not going to happen for a while," Joe replied. I'm really glad that was his response.
"Okay, but even so I'm going to go out for the night probably spend the night with a friend since it might get a little crazy and I don't want to bother you with all that," Kristin replied as she headed out.
"Is Kristin a big partier?" Joe asked in reference to Kristin's last comment.
"Not really, I mean she does go to parties every once and a while and usually gets a little drunk, it's a little funny to watch actually, but it's not nearly as bad as a lot of people," I replied.
"I always picture you being so anti-drinking, I guess it just surprises me a little bit that you would be best friends with a party girl," Joe commented.
"I am anti-drinking when it's in excess, plus it's hard to find someone who shares my exact anti-drinking sentiments. Kristin always knows when to stop and it's never harmful so it's fine with me," I replied.
"So what shall we do for the night since we have the apartment to ourselves?" Joe asked.
"I figured I could cook dinner and then we could watch a movie or two," I answered.
"Sounds like a plan," Joe agreed.
10 comments! Hopefully the next one won't take so long, but i'm not making any promises I have a super crazy schedule at the moment
