  • If you are looking for a great quality receiver that has the works for an affordable price, check out the Tecsun PL-600 on Ebay, i would buy it, only i don't have any money to do so.

  • @shortwavesam hey thanks that looks great, i also found the pl-660 so im thinking about whether i need the extra aircraft band or not.

  • @PresentedIn4D oh ok thanks

  • @GMSamuelRhine Yes, USB and LSB.

Only get the FT-817 if you are a licensed radio amateur.

  • @PresentedIn4D is the Satellit 750 capable of USB? i'm looking into either that or the ft-817

  • @GMSamuelRhine Correct.

  • @PresentedIn4D Ah i just have a cheap portable for listening to commercial stations. i'm assuming it would be stuck on Amplitude Modulation than?

  • Wrongly modulated RTTY. Needs to be in USB.

  • Maybe RTTY with 2 or 3kHz out?

  • @iAirsoft69 rofl, these must be the vocals than XD
