It is a simple, one-person process to put the top up or down. It latches in 4 places, and stows completely inside the trunk. With the top up, the trunk offers a much larger storage space than other classic Mustangs.

  • thats f'n bad ass

  • You couldn't. That was the drawback of the retractable and why there were so few made. They were aimed at a small audience (toy for a single person, maybe?) who likely had another car for travel when trunk space was needed. It's a very cool option on the Mustang, as was the power retractable option on the 57-59 Fairlane (Skyliner).

  • my boss buy #8 the 12 color blue my question is electric top o not y have a swicht broken under the dash ????????

  • How durable is the windshield end of the roof? Like when you're cruising with the top up and what if the roof would flip open? and do rain waters get in the car when the top is up?

  • I wanna make this conversion. But It scares me when cutting the roof of the car and making a mistake. Oh man..

  • @mengle2004 fastback with t tops ? 1977 1980 ?

  • A custom Fastback hardtop convert would be a cool idea

  • There is a luggage tub for the 57-59 Skyliners fits some stuff. I have a 57 who cares its the biggest draw at any car show I attend.
