Maybe she wants to promote herself.Because she wouldn't be able to do stuff like this thats not her usual. They would have authority over what she puts out.

@Sarasdad91 but there is no longer a "they" to promote her. Lady Gaga has a powerful record label behind her AND her music is extremely mainstream. Alexz is on her own and is not relatively mainstream. As soon as you gain success, it is much easier to maintain it, such as what happened with Gaga. Alexz has not had her moment and without a record label, may not for a while now.

@xMiaaaaaaa Because she's not promted the way she should be. I saw her in an episode of Smallville and decided to look her up on you tube and just now found out she was a singer/songwriter. She is not being pushed nearly as hard as Lady Gaga. It's all about the promotion. They need to get her out to more people because not many know about her.
