蒙古族是東北亞主要民族之一，也是蒙古國的主體民族。主要分佈在中國西部和北部，蒙古和俄羅斯。包括中國蒙古族，喀爾喀蒙古人，布里亞特人，卡爾梅克人等支系。屬蒙古人種­北方類型。使用蒙古語，布里亞特語和卡爾梅克語，均屬阿爾泰語系蒙古語族。原住貝加爾湖以南蒙古高原， 13世紀曾建立橫跨歐亞兩洲的蒙古帝國。 1206年，鐵木真在斡難河畔舉行的忽裡勒台（大聚會）上被推戴為蒙古大汗，號成吉思汗，建立了蒙古國。 1271年忽必烈建立元朝， 1279年統一中國。 17世紀初一部分衛拉特人向西遷至伏爾加河下游，形成今卡爾梅克人。 13世紀初創立蒙古文，沿用至今。蒙古和俄羅斯境內的使用斯拉夫字母為基礎的文字。多信喇嘛教或薩滿教。主要從事畜牧業，近年來工農業都有很大發展。 蒙古原為蒙古諸部落中的一個部落的名稱，後來隨著歷史的發展和演變逐漸成為這些部落的共同名稱。

I don't mind if someone sings traditional Chinese songs or about Chinese culture in English (heck, I won't mind if it is in Mongolian). This video is designed to bridge cultural differences.
