Inspired by Indian chef Atul Kochhar, the SORTED crew set about cooking a simple yet authentic and tasty fish curry. Healthier than most, the use of lentils provides a filling consistency. It's cheap, tasty and when served with the equally simple pilau rice and fresh toasted cumin salad makes a feast fit for a king.

  • @WHOAthereSPEEDY Should be fine... How did you get on??

  • Instead of ground coriander, can you use dried coriander leaf to the same effect?

  • @Tanonev12 It's not quite the same, but it'll definitely be better than nothing!

  • I love how Jamie recognised the sambuca :P

  • @abiii321 TYPICAL!!! haha

  • How about suggesting a dish? try to make arepas! It's easy to make, fast if you are in a hurry and utterly delicious. Try with the Reina Pepiada recipe ;)

  • @therrain Arepas??? I'm intrigued... have never heard of it before. Can you explain?

  • LOL, twig.

  • @sortedfood Its was delicious! The cinnamon added some delicious flavour that went beautifully with the curry. Job well done!

  • @tosikuai I just agreed that its not authentic, thats all -.-

  • @Asael090

everyone has the right to adopt a way that is eaiser for them, as long as it suits their own taste buds.

  • @WHOAthereSPEEDY

you dont need all those dry spices just add what you get and leave what u can't, the main process for a good palu is the process of cooking not these spices. hope it helped.

  • Can i substitute star anise seed for the while thing? I can't find it whole where i live :( I'm making it now... so its a little late to ask so i'll let you know how it turns out :P

  • @hashmik100 Yeaap, every indian would say that this isn't authentic

  • this proves men can cook too...until they took an arrow to the knee
