you dont need all those dry spices just add what you get and leave what u can't, the main process for a good palu is the process of cooking not these spices. hope it helped.

Can i substitute star anise seed for the while thing? I can't find it whole where i live :( I'm making it now... so its a little late to ask so i'll let you know how it turns out :P

Instead of ground coriander, can you use dried coriander leaf to the same effect?

How about suggesting a dish? try to make arepas! It's easy to make, fast if you are in a hurry and utterly delicious. Try with the Reina Pepiada recipe ;)
