  • Thanks! We do alot for the Community. We have played for the American Heart Assc., Muscular Dystrophy Assc., and many more. I'll keep you posted, so you can come by and see some of our other performances. Please put the word out about the current Bishop Dunne Drumline. Many of the Alumni have come to see us, so the word is getting out.

  • Hey oleschool, I was being facetious, the old time drum sections had some cool beats and cadences and a couple awesome technicians on the snare but this current Dunne Drumline on this video has taken it to another level in actuality. I dont imagine any Dunne drumline would have it over these kids. Awesome cadence , a precision team with dancing and marching thrown in the mix...plus they kept it up and tight for 3 1/2 minutes. And the two sets of timtoms to top it off. Excellent performance.

  • Yes this is at Kessler Park UMC. Every year we march in their annual Easter Parade. We call this cadence "Cold Steele", in honor of the NC A&T Drumline, which happens to be where we got it from. The original name is "R4". We also would like to thank you for your comments, regarding us as the 2nd best Bishop Dunne Falcon Drumline of all time. That is truly an honor! We have much respect for those guys that came through Bishop Dunne before us, and one of their son's is actually on our D-line now!

  • These kids are awesome, but at best they are only the 2nd best Bishop Dunne Falcon Drumline of all time after the 1975 band which featured the Ebony and Ivory duo of David Small and Tom Fearing that also featured that bad ass white boy bass drummer virtuoso they had whose name escapes me. Those cats set the standard for drumlines and were light years ahead of their time, but they couldn't dance like this group though, hehe. ...glad to see these kids carrying on the Dunne tradition though.
