Sex=survival? I guess she has never heard of AIDS. We don't survive on sex, we survive on food. New lives are created via childbirth, but it doesn't have to mean willy nilly sex and that doesn't make it "good" to show, just as violence is not god. But your average altercation trends to have less risks (emotionally, financially, socially) than getting pregnant and hitting someone is less personal than penetrating them.
