My experience as an RN Charge Nurse in a nursing home, was seeing elderly patients prescribed antipschotics and they had a catatonic, expressionless side effect. When I did a preceptorship on a psych locked unit, every patient was prescribed meds. The worst scenario was when a 2 year old boy was prescribed Ritalin.

  • I was on zyprexa, and I almost died.

  • @IronGodSlayer I'm so sorry to hear this! I'm glad you're alright. How are you doing now?

  • @mia0899cs Just confused like my mind is more clutter then it was when I went to the hospital. Even now cant have a normal conversation or my moods shift.

  • @IronGodSlayer I'm sorry to hear that. My friend lost 15 yrs of her life because the Psychiatrist had her on medication that didn't work for her. Everyone has different brain chemistry and sometimes it takes a little while until they can find the right medication and dosage. Please don't give up and you'll overcome this with your Dr. Love and Light, Cindy

  • @michealjohnedmondson I get nerves burned in my back tomorrow. It's called, rfd, or radio frequency. Maybe, this will help. Thanks:)

  • @mia0899cs dang. maybe its time for a new one. :-)

  • @michealjohnedmondson I have heard of it. It was big for awhile. I'll check it out. My problem is being in a lot of back pain from an accident. My pain specialist doesn't have it under control

  • @mia0899cs Yea it does make it worse. it only targets the symptons not the actual sickness. i take vitamins daily and it helps me. You should try st. johns wort, its a vitamin that helps with all sorts of anxiety and it boosts your serotonin levels. research its benefits. :-)

  • @spncrlucas Yea they are. Thats why I eat healthy and take vitamins. Pharmecutical is only for profit. Terrible. smh

  • @spncrlucas Sometimes these drugs make it worse or even mimick a mental illness.
