Steam: Thomas the Tank (piston broke) races Lord Nelson

Percy and Toad appear briefly before Thomas encounters a mechanical problem.

The Fat controller supervises the repairs. Then Lord Nelson (850) arrives tender first, and races Thomas along the track.

Filmed at Ropley station on the Mid Hants Railway (MHR) during "Thomas the Tank" week April 2009.

The MHR line is sometimes called The Hampshire Alps and also the Watercress Line.

Thomas is a tank engine who lives at a big station on the Island of Sodor. He's a cheeky little engine with six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler and a short stumpy dome. He was created by the Rev. W. V. Awdry.
