  • @UltimaMan

it's not a written fact. more or less something square was supposed to elaborate on but like so many things in the game, never actually got around to tie up the loose ends. But It actually makes more sense then just some random ring, with the most powerful summon around, being given randomly to some teenager, for reasons unknown, only to have a purpose randomly at the last moment of the game, and have no real impact. ....Oh wait i see your point, this is a final fantasy game. LMAO.

  • @Phoenixesper1: Pretty sure that's not true... check the FF wiki and look up Hyne.

  • If good griever is defeated.Rinoa would say."I shall junction myself unto Griever!"

  • Actually Griever is the second half of hyne. The being that gave rise to the sorceresses. He gave half his power to women which they could use freely, the other half was sealed in the ring squall carries. Though it can never be wielded by men. Ultimecia summons it through squall's mind. Only with both halves of hyne could ultimecia's power be complete. Once squall destroyed the the mental block his mind created in the image of griever, ultimacia was free to merge with hynes full power.

  • stop yappimg about who won! griever won :D

  • Ultimecia has a personality desorder. Mirrored personality

  • @lildude4231 No, Griever won

  • @broxas59 True. I just think they're all monsters and what you see is what you get. It probably would have been explained in the game if it was meant to be understood that way. I hate theories in all honesty, but they're fun to explore :3

  • @Josh1j2 getting alittle too into it, but always possible the 3rd form where she junctions to griever is her losing control of the illusion. in the end she loses complete control of the illusion(s) and her true form is shown. but like i said, thats getting way into theories of whats going on which square prolly had no intent of getting at. fun to talk about though

  • @broxas59 So she junctioned herself into a mind trick she used to make herself stronger? o.o Because if that's the truth then her next form is kind of unnecessary... It is kinda never confirmed whether Griever's real or fake, although I wanted it to be real =P
