A Song For Nanay

Big Mommas don't come very often and to know that I've had the Biggest Momma Ever for 23 years of my life is more than an honor - it is truly a blessing. Nanay, I am truly blessed to have had such a loving and caring Nanay like you for all this time. I know we will all still be under your watchful eye, ready with your slipper to "palo" us when we get rowdy :). But it's all love. Nanay, for 90 plus years and five generations, you have held this great Barrett Family together through all obstacles. Nothing was ever too much for you to handle. Nay, we must all admire your strength and courage and live on your legacy for the rest of our lives. Us Barretts WILL "Bare It" all,just as you did, no matter what stands in our way. We love you, Nay. And we miss you so much. I miss you so much, Nay. You are truly the Mother of all mothers. Twelve children, 38 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and still counting. Thank you, Nay. Thank you, for everything. You will forever live in me - in all of us. Tell Tatay we love him.
