  • This is so saddening that they want to keep people that love each other from marrying. They clain to be for family yet they use fear of something they dont understand and hate to make people support their objectives.

Its purely PURITANISTIC BEHAVIOUR!! and extremely appualing!!! :(

  • @riotriotriot55 yes $22 million in donations from individual citizens just like you.

  • @LemurFox theres leaked names of the $22 million that has been spent..

    the church DID spend money

    stop lying

    God hates liars.

  • Yes they did. They took away peoples' right to marry from Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Atheists, and even more.

  • it passes whether you like it or not it passes yes on 8

  • I stand corrected; thank you.

  • The Church did not give ANY money to the Yes on 8 Campaign. Tithe money DID NOT go to this. All the church did was ask members to do all they could to see Prop 8 passed. It was INDIVIDUAL Members who gave large donations, and they were taxed as political contributions. True, the LDS donated over 50% of the total funds, but as individual members, not representing the church as a whole. The assertions that are being made by these protesters are completely false.

  • I'd like to see them try this in South Central LA especially since 70% of African Americans & the majority of Latinos voted in FAVOR of Prop 8.

  • Well, excuse me for your different beliefs. Ppl may have different beliefs, but they DO NOT take rights from other ppl. For example: Christians do not take away rights from Buddhists, Hindu etc.
