Villamil presents her poem "Pedro," about her brother's death in the cicil war. Villamil is a Colombian poet, editor and translator. International Poetry Award "Gastón Baquero 2001" with her book Los Acantilados del Sueño.
I think you will love this video. Antonieta Villamil wrote this profound poem to her brother. I also saw her in 2003 in a photo at the California section of the Los Angeles Times at a center fold of the protest against the war in Iraq. Her poetry is engaging and dinamic. I saw her perform at CASA ROMANTICA in San Clemente California. It was an unforgetable evening, hearing her recital. She performs her poetry, reads and sings and takes you out of the planet. I truly recommend hearing this poet.
