It's a good base to build on. I'm not a big fan of wrapping cord or tape around the tin, but whatever works for you. Keep up the good work.

I have to say not a fan of this kit, he made some glaring mistakes assembling it. first off ditch the paracord and replace with bank line(you will fit far more bank line then paracord).Replace the chlorine with puri tabs(saves a heap of space).Take the handle off the ferro rod.Add storm matches
Add 2 large oven bags for water (folded down)storage/carriage/boiling ability(mark1Lfor purifying)Add a survival whistle, LED light,fresnel lens,button compass,small fishing kit,snare line,sail needle

LOL your cat ^_^....... but thanks for the vid very helpful :D
Don't know if this has been brought up or if you did it intentionally or not but you can use the altoids tin to make charcloth since you put a hole in it. Great idea

@TheCanyonCrawler I dont think i covered it enough but the hole has a piece of clear tape over it and it can be used just like a normal signal mirror. But yes it would be great for charcloth too!

OK everyone! He is making an emergency survival kit, Key words EMERGENCY SURVIVAL! it's not for extended periods, I must say that he makes a good kit the only thing I would add may be some fishing line and hooks. Besides that Excellent kit nice job.

I had a bit of trouble understanding what you would do with the chlorine or even where to get it if I wanted to put it in my kit… Please let me know the answer… Other than that, great block of instruction. I am assuming that you are an NCO, so thank you for the video Sergeant… Heard - Understood - & Approved... HUA

@skiball2001 Thanks buddy. The chlorine is for water treatment. A few small shavings in a bottle of untreated water should kill all parasites and last a while. The chlorine came from an above ground pool.
