BUHAY LANSANGAN NG BATANG LANSANGAN (Street Life by Street Children) BLBL is a collage of stories shared and turned into a thirty minute (30) performance by street children under the care and protection of four (4) non-government organizations, namely BAHAY TULUYAN, SPECS FOUNDATION, VIRLANIE FOUNDATION and KANLUNGAN SA ER-MA FOUNDATION. All four organizations including CHILDHOPE ASIA PHILIPPINES, are collectively known as the Street Education Network of Manila ASMAE Partners or SENMAP. Bing Baguioro, of Childrens Laboratory for Coalition directs BLBL . Using a range of performance arts devices that include music, dance and speech choir techniques, BLBL opens with the bridge rhyme that asks the question: Why are children in the streets?
