north american ford owned 33.9%,ford japan, owns13.4% toyo??? owns 20%,the rest is stock holders. mazda is the only company ford won't sell because its design is worthy of keeping,and way to much cross technoligy involved.

Ford does NOT own Mazda "outright". Ford had a 33.9% interest, but now has only 13.4%. Stop posting incorrect or misleading information. It is irresponsible.

its also ford, ford owns mazda outright! it was co designed for all 3 manufactures as their world car simular to what GM does today with opel,vauxhall,holden & chevy/buick, they make the same car for differant markets under differant nameplates

Festiva models sold in Japan & Mazda 121 models exported to Europe were built by Mazda in Japan. N. American models were built under license by Kia Motors in Korea. After the original 121 model was discontinued in Europe, Kia started selling the Festiva as the Kia Pride — the first Kia model to be sold in this market. Also, there were only 3 door models in US. I am in Los Angeles, I should know.

the original is the KIA pride ford just rebadged then and sold them to either ford or mazda ., its cheaper to buy the parts in korea, still pleanty of NOS parts, KIA is now HYUNDAI, but many kia parts stores got parts for sale or can get them in a few days, or can be gotten real cheap used from junkyards

Don't forget the original is the Mazda 121. Either way, I could restore a tired Ford Festiva with Pride OEM parts if only I could buy & have them shipped from Iran!

lol the KIA pride is a car that was built with kia & ford parts and was co designed together before KIA got screwed by ford !,the 2 &3 door models were sold in USA as the ford festiva

I was a Traffic Cop In Tehran for 2 years,I was an eyewitness for hundreds of accidents like this.
The main cause is the driving culture in iran.then the roads...
Finally i advise the Iranian Government to spend the traffic fines for Iran..Not for ....

Place a seat cover over the plastic wrap. That should solve the problem
