[A Dedication] Knockin' on Heaven's Door

A video slideshow dedicated to Axel Rose, my bob-tailed tabby boy who was killed on Christmas Eve. He was probably around being exactly a year old when he passed away, as he'd been 8-9 months old when we adopted him from the Humane Society, and we'd had him 3-4 months. He was a very beautiful boy with the most lively personality.

He was nicknamed affectionately as my "cuddle bunny." He was hit by a car on Christmas Eve, because people drive insanely on our road. My mother found him laying by the mailbox not five minutes after he was hit, but he was already gone. His death seemed to be relatively instant, and for that, I am grateful. He was buried in the backyard next to my kitten, Kyrian who had died before we adopted Axel, on Christmas day.

The timing and other aspects of the situation has made it one of the greatest tragedies I'd ever experienced. Axel had worked his way into my heart a lot; he was an amazing little cat. However, I've already moped and mourned... and I don't want to be sad when I think of him anymore. These pictures display some of our happiest times together. I want to remember the times we shared laughing and cuddling. I can only hope that he was happy here, that his life was worth living, even if it was untimely short.

The main song used here is "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," by Guns N' Roses, because Axel was named after the singer of this band, which was one of my dad's favorite bands. This song has a lot of meaning for me; my mother tells me they also played it at my dad's funeral, as he died when I was only a few months old.

Oh, I'm so sorry for you! I know how you feel. My kitten just died of feline leukemia. That would be so hard for a cat to get hit by a car! I am SO sorry! :*c

LOL, you just -did- reply to me. You're incredibly childish and can't seem to accept that you did something wrong; you came onto MY video, that is a memorial to MY dead cat, and left a comment about YOUR living cat without expressing any condolences, and acted like a victim even though I'm the one with the dead pet and the one who had to be reminded of the loss of said pet because of your unsympathetic comment. But I'm rude. ;) You came onto my video, so whatever.

Don't tell me "don't reply" on my own damn, PERSONAL memorial video. :/ I made it. I put my pain into it. You're the one who's comments don't belong here. Especially when you don't seem intelligent enough to realize what I even said: you are irritating my raw wound of my cat's death, not you are irritating.

I'm also not arguing, I'm dictating. Again, my video. My upload. My dead cat, kthnx. I'm sick of people posting about their cats, dead or alive, on my personal video, deal.

I named Axel, he didn't come with the name, but yeah, I don't find it very considerate to go onto a video where a cat has died and ramble on about your own cat without offering any condolences whatsoever, sorry. Clearly someone who has lost a cat doesn't want to be reminded that said cat is not with them anymore. So yeah, there's a raw wound that you're irritating, I'm likely to be a little imbittered.

I used to have a cat named jack. He was just like Axel. On 9/21/08 he was purposely poisoned. Every year at the day he died on our lap we go to the place we barred him beside the river and honor him. He was so special because when my mother was in great pain he gave me hope.
