Pi Acres Suite for Strings (1) - Martin Gaskell

"Pi Acres" Suite for Strings, Op. 3.14159, by Martin Gaskell. The Prelude (Allegro Energetico) is the first of the five movements. The movie shows Pi Acres on the top of Windy Hill. The Prelude depicts the energy of the family working on finishing the house. The suite was first performed in a concert in the house. The other movements of the suite and of a sequel suite, the Windy Hill suite, depict various aspects of our family life at Pi Acres. The suite is dedicated "to my family pictured within."
