When we ( my guitarist and I, bassist ) received Shakti as the next influence for us. We would sit in the rehearsal studio dimly lit in red blue, incense burning. Playing acoustic instruments and taking the Shakti vibes onto the fretboards for hours a night.
Our drummer even got involved one session. there is a feeling like no other when playing this style of music, and when listening to JM and Shakti.
