Isabella Adjani first gained fame as a classical actress for her interpretation of Agnès, the main female role in Molière's L'École des femmes, but soon left the Comédie française she had joined in 1972, to pursue a film career. After minor roles in several films, she enjoyed modest success in the 1974 film La Gifle (or The Slap). The following year, she landed her first major role in François Truffaut's The Story of Adèle H. Critics enthused over her performance, with Pauline Kael calling her acting talents "Prodigious".[7][8] She was nominated for the Best Actress Oscar and offers for roles in Hollywood films, such as Walter Hill's 1978 crime thriller The Driver. She then played Lucy in Werner Herzog's 1979 remake of Nosferatu (1979). In 1981, Adjani received the Cannes Film Festival's best actress award for the Merchant Ivory film Quartet based on the novel by Jean Rhys, and for the horror film Possession. The following year, she received her first César Award for Possession, in which she portrays a woman having a nervous breakdown. In 1983, she won the César, for her depiction of a vengeful woman in the blockbuster One Deadly Summer. That same year, she released the French pop album Pull marine written and produced by Serge Gainsbourg. She starred in a music video for the hit title song Pull Marine, which was directed by Luc Besson.

  • @tousamis you see, i was right and you were wrong

    ;-)

I speak french and the guy interviewing her is Michel Drucker.

  • @DelBrisee

I found out, the show was on TV on January 8, 1984.

  • @DelBrisee

Gainsbourg wrote this song which was on promotion in October 1983. So Adjani certainly made the promotion in this show in late 1983 or early 1984. Because she says she has new projects for "automn", which is automn 1984 (there was no TV show between June and September).

  • @DelBrisee

no it is in 1983. This show (where she sings) is elsewhere on youtube, it was in late 1983.

  • @tousamis impossible. It was 1984!!!! she also says "in 1983" as in past sentence because the entire album was recorded in 1983 but PROMOTED in 1984. Sorry, but you are wrong. Listen to the interview one more time. it's 1984 and could even be 1985 for that matter. The Kool and Gang song Michel Druker is presenting right after the interview WAS NOT RELEASED BEFORE 1984. so you got it all wrong. pretty please.

  • @DelBrisee

It is 1983, and it was a show where she sang the song "Ohio" which was just on the records market.

  • She's a vampire or what? 2009 - lol.

  • this is not 1983, because they talk about 1983 like it was in the past. After thanking for the interview Michel Druker (the interviewer, famous french TV personality) says " we are going to listen to Kool and the Gang and their latest song Straight Ahead". I looked it up and it was 1984. However my guess is that this interview is from 1985. It could be anywhere between 1984-1985.

Not 1983 and definitively not 2009 lol

  • Pourquoi est-ce qu'il parle de funk GAY ?

  • 1983
