BEUMER Belt Conveyor 12.5 km in Sichuan/China

With the completion of a belt conveyor installation in Chinese Sichuan, the BEUMER Group has once again demonstrated its pioneering role as a specialist for intralogistic conveying. On a length of 12.6 kilometres BEUMER has developed and installed a system for limestone transport between the quarry and the cement plant.

Since February 2009, the system has been in operation and able to ensure the continuous limestone transport between the quarry and the plant in horizontal and vertical curves, over bridges and through a tunnel, reaching a mass flow of 1,500 tons per hour and a conveying speed of 4 metres per second.

Since its foundation, BEUMER has substantially shaped technical development in the conveying technology sector and, with its belt conveyors, can always offer the right solution for transport requirements. The BEUMER Group is supplying systems for bulk material and piece good transport to the whole world.
