Let's not be too unfair.  Obama was dead wrong on the surge and on his promise to remove our troops "now". I'm very glad he broke that promise. Bush laid out a strategy, and Obama has come close to following it. This is something the GOP should thank Obama for. Politics stops at the waters edge, and I'm glad he hasn't wasted our victory in Iraq. While many don't get this, it is of huge strategic significance to the region.

I knew Obama would break his promises. In this case, I'm glad.

bush made out that Americans were the goodies and all Iraqi's were baddies. This consequently brainwashed the American soldiers in Iraq because now innocent people are being killed in Iraq. Bush just defamed the people of Iraq and I think it's time for troops to be withdrawn.
