What You Don't Know-Chapter 7!!!

Kevin: Hey I think we should call Mom.
Joe: Yeah.
Kevin: Here we will use my phone. (dials a number)
Denise: (sounds worried) Hello?
Kevin: Hey Mom, it's Kevin.
Denise: Oh my gosh! Kevin my baby! Are you ok!? Where are you!? What about Nicholas and Joseph!?
Kevin: Mom I'm fine! We are all fine. Joe and Nick are right here with me.
Denise: Oh my goodness! Where are you? What happened?
Kevin: We can't tell you that...
Nick: We were kidnapped!
Kevin: (throws a "shut up" look over at Nick)
Denise: Oh my gosh! Nicholas! My baby!
Kevin: Here Mom, here's Nick. (to Nick) Real smooth.
Nick: (rolls his eyes and takes phone) Hey Mom.
Denise: Oh my baby boy, how are you? Did they hurt you?
Nick: No Mom I'm fine. I really want to see you.
Denise: I know baby.
Nick: I love you Mom.
Denise: I love you too.
Nick: Here's Joe. (hands the phone to Joe)
Joe: (takes the phone) Hi Mom, it's Joe.
Denise: Oh sweetie, are you ok?
Joe: Yes mom, we're all fine. No ones hurt. It's not as bad as it sounds.
Denise: How is being kidnapped not as bad as it sounds?
Joe: Mom, trust me we are going to be fine. Nick is just kinda freaked out.
Denise: When will I see you guys again?
Joe: I don't know mom. I honestly can't tell you that.
Denise: Well at least tell me where you are.
Joe: Mom, I'm sorry but we can't tell you that.
Denise: (begins to cry) But I am so worried.
Joe: (starts to cry) I'm sorry Mom. I love you. (hands the phone back to Kevin)
Kevin: (takes the phone) Mom, listen, we really are ok.
Denise: Kevin, please just tell me why.
Kevin: (starts to get teary) I'm sorry Mom, we can't.
Denise: What do they want with you?
Kevin: I'm sorry Mom.
Denise: Whatever they want from you, take care of your brothers. Don't let anything happen to them.
Kevin: I promise.
Denise: I love you. I love you all.
Kevin: We love you too mom. (hangs up)
(with Jessi)
Jessi: (sighs) Here we go. (dials her mom's number)
Sally: (sounds like she's been crying) Hello?
Jessi: Hey Momma.
Sally: JESSICA!?!? Oh my gosh!!! My angel are you ok!? Where are you!? What happened!? Are you scared!?
Jessi: Mom! MOM! I'm fine!
Sally: Where are you? The police are out looking for you! Tell me so they can find you!
Jessi: Mom, I can't.
Sally: You can't what!?
Jessi: I can't tell you where I am or what's going on.
Sally: WHY!?!? DID THEY THREATEN YOU!?!?
Jessi: No Mom they didn't threaten me! I just can't tell you, I'm so sorry Mom!
Sally: Jessica! Why can't you tell me!? Don't do this Jessica! Just tell me! (sobbing) Please just tell me!!! I am so worried! I can't sleep I can't eat!!! I am a mess! Please!
Jessi: (starts crying) Momma, I love you and I will talk to you soon.
Sally: (crying uncontrollably) JESSICA! PLEASE!!!
Jessi: Goodbye Mom. (hangs up the phone and throws the phone across the bed and starts sobbing. She gets up and walks out of her room to the boys room and knocks on there door)
Kevin: (opens the door) Jessi, what's wrong?
Jessi: I wanna go home! (throws herself on Kevin)
Joe: (comes up) Jessi are you ok?
Jessi: I can't do this!
Joe: Hey we're gonna be alright.
Nick: Jessi?
Jessi: (hugs Nick) Nicky, I want to go home! I'm scared to death! You should have heard my mom on the phone she was having a nervous breakdown!
(the boys step out into the hallway)
Nick: (holds her) Shhh shhh...we are going to be ok? Everything is alright, we are here with you. We won't let anything happen to you.
Jessi: I just want to see my mom again.
Nick: (puts his hands on the sides of her face) You are going to see your mom again. I promise. Even if it means risking my own life.
Jessi: (hugs him) At least I am going through this with my best friends. (smiles)
Joe: Yeah and we are all going to pull through and make it out of this ok.
Jessi: I don't like that we can't be in eachothers room. I don't want to be alone.
Kevin: I know.
Joe: Well we can always sit on the floor out here in the hallway.
Jessi: That's a good idea.
(so they sit on the floor in the hallway and talk)
Man: Your dinner is here.
Jason: What are you doing on the floor?
Joe: Well we aren't aloud in eachother's rooms so we are just going to sit in the hallway.
Jason: Ok then. Well we brought you guys steak because we know that you guys like it.
Nick: I'm not hungry.
Jason: Fine then, we will leave it right here incase you want it. (walks away)
Jessi: Nicky, you really ought to eat something.
Nick: I know.
Kevin: Then what? Are you going on a hunger strike or something?
Nick: No, but now that you mention it, it's not that bad of an idea.
Joe: Nick, eat.
Nick: Fine.
(they all eat and talk. Eventually Jessi falls asleep on Joe's shoulder)
