  • Il give all my money, my soul and my left testicle to the guy who finds that recording.

  • @DIZamudio Released in albums e.g. "Steve Vai Archives Vol 2" , "Son Of Cheap Thrills", "Chalk Pie", ( Studio) "Does Humor Belong in Music" and "You can't do that on stage anymore Vol- 5" , "Kreega Bondola" ( Live Version)

  • @barun432 I want to hear more about the sound check at the end... Do you have the 2nd half of this interview?

  • @hicks727 This interview is a culmination of all the Steve Vai excerpts about Zappa, if you want the whole documentary, find the FZ VPRO Dutch TV documentary in Zappateers.

  • I wish that song was released. It would have been a hit.

  • @ANOTHERHOLEINYOHEAD This song was released in several albums. The studio version was released in "Frank Zappa meets the mothers of prevention", "Steve Vai Archives Vol 2" and the live version was released in "Chalk Pie", "Does Humor Belong in Music" and "You can't do that on stage anymore Vol- 5"

  • @qwfwq2 I just came here to write that...I saw this video yesterday, and today I accidentally played Baltimore and instantly recognized this! :D

  • @DIZamudio This song in "What's new in Baltimore" on the album "Frank Zappa meets the mothers of prevention" 1986.

    the cash please :-)

  • OMG THIS IS AMAZING

  • WHAT'S NEW IN BALTIMORE!!!

What an incredible treat to be able to see Vai playing those chord changes!

The last thing I recorded before my neck broke were the drums to What's New In Baltimore--starting with the singing fuitar solo in the middle; I was planning on recording bass and guitars also. That was my last 4-track recording--well, the drums, anyway.

One of my fav Zappa pieces; thanks for posting!

  • @voodoocigam Same here xD Did you manage to figure it out?

  • "What's New In Baltimore" is the name of the song

  • The `FZ meets the Mothers of Prevention` solo of `Whats new in Baltimore?` should be in the top 100 guitar solos instead of `Zoot Allures`.The bands backing in the `Does humour belong in music` version makes this one stand out aswell. He is the most underrated guitarist. Not all of his solos are that accessible to most but its worth trawling the hordes and `listen between the lines` as i tell people who cant get past the comedy songs. As a composer hes up there with the best aswell by the way.FACT!

  • @DIZamudio his son has it in the VAULT.get it out dweezel for all of us to here
