Cal Poly Science Cafe is an informal speaker series that explores scientific topics with an expert.

In November 2011, Ric Rhinehart, Executive Director of the Specialty Coffee Association of America and a former Cal Poly student, visited Kennedy Library to lead us in a basic coffee taste test.

In this video Ric explains why coffee cupping is used in the industry.

The next day there was a delicious community pour-over event at Sally Loo's Wholesome Cafe.
