Haha elis face when he sits there looking at abel covered in mud

Another reason why Christianity is looked down upon, you've got these over zealous idiots spouting out hateful and wrathful things because they believe God tells them to.
" He who hath not sinned may cast the first stone". Ring a bell, Eli?

@117ty 1. This movie is fiction. 2. Eli isn't a christian. He is a false prophet, he calls Abel "stupid", he makes lies about salvation, he is violent, and he threatens - ALL attributes of evil and nothing like Christ or Christianity. That you would equate anything he does to Christ or His Staints is quite curious.

I fuckin hated eli this hole movie!

It was scenes like this that made me feel a lot less sympathetic to Eli in the end. Not necessarily sympathetic to Daniel, just less sympathetic to Eli.
Love this movie.

HAHA even though i have a crush on him it's still funny when he's sat at the table with mud on him and nobody sez anything to him lol and he isn't weak if he jumps up at Abel lol
I find Eli to be pragmatic and practical in the ways of the world with his statement, "God doesn't save stupid people." It seems to be quite a break from "the lilies of the field" evocations others have used. What sort of faith does Eli have?
