@DieByMyHand1 On big festivals, especially 3-day+ ones there is a higher "fatigue" factor than on plain concerts, which is further increased by the fact that there are more than 2 or 3 bands that one would smash one's face to. Also, crowd reaction in more famous countries can be dull just because they see tons and tons of good bands all the time and they are "spoiled".

Hope that makes it clearer.

@BGinfidel Not really, but thanks for replying. I was at Bloodstock for Cannibal Corpse, the pit was insane! In Britain we show our appreciation (well most of the time), the band has travelled a long way and they need to feed off the crowd energy, its a two way thing...in the MA video you can see Dave V is pissed off with the crowd, interrupting the song to get them going

@DieByMyHand1 I cant see the bored faces you are talking about. Every shitty band animates the crowd to do things like to lay on the ground or do a circle pit what so ever, but you can also simply enjoy a concert with lots of headbanging and ... simply listen to it.
