@PwnzorBob While I do study philology as a hobby, I'll admit I don't know much about Icelandic. I have read that vowel changes and letter changes were made, but I couldn't tell you what characters or when they were made. Being so isolated I understand that Icelandic did not change as much as German, and especially English. Changes did occur though. I read just now though that most Icelandic speakers can read old Icelandic with little trouble. Which I have to admit, is pretty cool.

Maybe next you can explain the great mystery as to why you are such a jackoff. You know, it is my fault really. I have been spending my time reading/speaking/writing English, German, and Romanian when I should have been studying Old Icelandic. I guess I thought it would be a better use of my time to learn languages people still fucking speak.
