story: Optimus Prime, in this episode (i'm not making this up), was brought back to life by the evil quintessons to infiltrate and destroy the autobots. Optimus fought back with his own free will, and won in the end. Optimus was able to sacrifice himself to save the other autobots. I believe that Optimus is the only autobot that could win against another's control over them.
