In the past month or two, On ebay motors, somebody had a World War One Packard that allegedly came from Japan, owned by Emperor Hirohito. The guy said he had original japanese papers. The story might have been true. The problem is the car is a mess. It needs total restoration. And his ebay asking price was $120,000!!!! owned by hirohito? hey great, its still a bunch of parts worth maybe four to five thousand dollars, right? fully restored you would start bidding around $45,000

Check out my youtube videos under my user name. Some amateur video I shot at fort lauderdale antique car museum. . website for the museum is antiquecar museum.net; they have 39 packards. four have never been restored and are in original near mint condition. After going to that museum 8 times, Im addicted to packards. other great car makes back in the day, but anything other than packard is just information overload for me. I like researching info on packards.
