Thankoyu Remixmanifesto - that i missed a great video like this im happy that you have uploaded it. Linked from techdirt, now spread through out my emailing list. So many great points, so many fail arguments by industry shrills which is an excellent example of cascade failure.
Again, thankyou for taking the time to upload.

Under copyright law he has the right to play live just like any DJ.
What he doesn't have the right to do is distribute and make money from other people's recordings.
I don't really have a problem with him reassembling other people's music for fun but I do think its hypocritical of him to accept money for it when he refuses to pay the artists and producers who provide him with material.

Yeah, the biggest problem with this argument is the american dream, and the hope that people can rise above the average and become super rich through the merit of their own hard work.
As good a case as this movie makes for Girltalk et al. (and it makes a very good case) the people who are getting screwed are the musicians, and as an (amateur) musician, I wouldn't mind one bit if someone else played a song I wrote, but I would mind if they made money off of my performance.
