GTi Racing: Herbie rides again.

I'll admit it. I have a real soft spot for that '63 Bug. It's almost a childhood icon for me. One of the first movies I was hooked on as a little kid was, "The Love Bug," and it only just recently got me hooked around it again. You can thank Lindsay Lohan and her rather astounding brea-... uh... beauty.

This is how it broke down: just last week, I found a game for sale over Steam for $10, called, "GTi Racing". It is a racing game sponsored by Volkswagen, and is based on Rally races in Italy, Great Britain, Texas and Germany (probably more. I've only completed 5% of the Championship mode so far).

The first car available for the player to purchase is the classic VW Bug, and guess who's paint job happens to be applicable? You guessed right.

I threw on some "towel rack" bumpers and wide racing slicks to give the Bug that classic Herbie look.
