super helpfull tutorial, i was a little worried before updating cuz it didn't showed 1.0.9-ml-2012D update instead of 1.0.9 because it was the newer version i believe but in the end, it worked totally fine (and I'm super exited right now) thanks!

While I am mostly a photographer, I am getting more into video.
Currently, my batteries for the T2i are charging, but I am going to install this; it's a lot nicer than the basics of the T2i.

Do I have to plug my T2i to the USB port. can't I just load the magic lantern firmware onto the T2i through SD card only? I can't find my cords... T_T
A Little advice for most of you that dont know a thing about this Magic Lamp (like me) . Today i followed this tutorial and installed Magic Lamp to my T2i and it gave me tons of bugs , i could barely take pictures and video screen kept blinking , i ended up formatting my card.
If i were you and wanted to install this again i would look for the newest upgrade to see if it comes with less bugs.

@MnkyKng Yeah, the newer version still has it's share of bugs but they are an upgrade for sure. I filmed this tut before these were out though...

@Dod3032 hey mr Dod, My videos still record the noise though I set AGC to off, what should I do?
thebroadcastviewer 1 year ago
@thebroadcastviewer AGC doesn't mean audio will be turned off, it just means you can now manually control the audio levels. You can turn off the audio by turning down the volume in the Magic Lantern Audio menu

Thanks for the video. I have a problem though after installing: When using the LCD preview window in video mode, a blue checkerboard display appears and covers up most of the display. When previewing a recorded piece of footage it does not display but I would like not to see it when filming so I get a better idea of what I am looking at. Can anyone explain this to me?

@GrandTheftAuto4Films Turn Zebras off in the Video menu of Magic Lantern.
