  • Well when you go to the dentist they will usually are you wheter or not you will like the needles or not, but you will be better off with the needles becuase it will less likly to hurt. Then they put some numbing cream on around the gum area and then the needles are injected. I got three but you may get less or more. Only the first one hurts a bit, but for me the worst feeling was when they push the needle down ferther down into my gum and changed direction abit!! All in all it doesn't hurt. :)

  • I have to get a cavity filling tomorrow... Does it hurt when they put the needle in to anesthetize you?

  • @bethany1046 Even if you do need a needle it dose not hurt at all.

  • You missed a bit, problem?

  • I've got the dentist tomorrow and I think I may need a filling .............. Would I need to get a needle in my mouth or not actually FREAKING OUT :(

  • @mechaspark1 Ohhh okay thanks :)

  • @peacebeauty101 More like, puts you completely out of it. Unaware of what's happening.

  • @mechaspark1 Okay thanks :) So what your saying is that the laughing gas will knock me out? That's not what my dentist told me lol

  • @peacebeauty101 No. Not at all. You're knocked out and barely remember anything, or notice anything. It's all a blur. All you feel is pressure. It's really easy. I'm no dentist, but I'm saying this from personal experience.

  • @21kittyluver well thank you very much, because i had it done yesterday and i didnt feel a thing at all but i did feel a very little pinch when they were getting the cavity out. but yes i feel great now.
