Here is the full DVD focusing on Carl Jung's work, discussing Alchemy, the Republic, and Carl Jung's book 'Psychology and Alchemy." This video discusses the idea that Platonic metaphysics is an Intellectual Yoga, a spiritual tradition which is magnificent, structured, aggressive, descriptive and psychologically profound. Enjoy the Lost treasure of Plato.

  • The golden section, which Piere done such a great job of communicating here, reminded me of Buckminster fuller's definition's of the principle of Synergy. - Systems are unpredicteable by their subsystems taken seperately, i.e. the parts considered seperately, don't tell you much about their functioning as a 'greater' whole. Anyway, Excellent upload, thnx (Julie?:))

  • Lovely reflectin, thank you. The levels of image thinking, belief, understanding, and knowledge stand as pairs each is to one another as an incommensurable ratio and so too the divisions between the higher levels to the lower two stand in the same ratio.(You're Welcome (no-not-Julie)

  • Spiritus mundi...

That's the "missing piece" in Jung's system -- it's the emergence of consciousness! Jung was lucky & "stepped out of a mist" into consciousness at AGE ELEVEN! When you enter the spirit world & see the ONENESS of everything, you'll know it & you'll need plenty of kleenex to deal with it! This is the only path to lucidity, IMHO. Pierre is so smart...he's a walking library of philosophy. If you get time, get knee-deep into Epicurus & look at the Socratic approach to life.

  • I just heard my dog barking. I could go down and see my dog barking but I wonder what the dog sees to make it bark. Patterns within the bark could determine emotion in the dog and by studying the patterns, I might determine what causes the dog to bark.

There are patterns in nature. I like that about life.

  • Why isnt ugliness in the highest realm of the intellect? he says no opposites(of the one/the good) ! Impossible !

    please some one elaborate

  • "the highest vision" he points at still looks like chalk and marker.

  • I thought Plato's divided line had to be drawn from bottom up?

  • so interesting...I also love how piere keeps his collar popped, well before E-40 said it I'm guessing...

  • yeh, Ive missed a few concepts in my earlier comment of clip 2 now that a more complete thought has been revealed..
