I wholeheartedly agree. I've learned so much from youtube and continue to learn each day. The wealth of music (and knowledge) on youtube has really opened my eyes and ears to breadth and depth of early music.
Mouton has a piece whose melody is very similar to this chaconne. Nonetheless it is not the same as this chaconne written for Theorbo by Robert de Visee. It was very common for composers to copy melodies, themes and variations written by other musicians. Take for example, the theme of La Folia (also known as Folies d'Espagne) a theme with variations by many composers (Lully, Correlli, Sanz, Bach, A. Scarlatti) over the course of a couple of hundred years.
