None of you, including you cheezy, seem to know where the orginal M. Myers mask came from...
Here's the story: prop dept. ran out of money and had to find a mask for the last couple scenes shot. Producer told them to go to the local Halowe'en shop and find a cheap, unrecognizable mask and just use it. The went, found a (get this) William Shatner pullover mask that didn't look much like Shatner, but creepy enough for the film.
There you have it: original Myers was KIRK!!

The one used in part 5 was really bad especially with long hair and the one in part 4 looked like it was made in China.
