Mark makes the point that it is not only parrots who are cruel to the injured; humans are cruel too. I became disabled with a chronic illness at 48; most people I know via the Internet who likewise become disabled with chronic illness find themselves abandoned by most of their friends and even family. We even have people, perhaps protecting their own ego fears of illness & death, who tear us down to others and make light of our illness. Cruelty plain and simple.

This was one of the best films/documentaries I've ever seen in my life. It really gets down to opening your eyes and looking outside the box in your everyday world. There really is so much other life out there. I hope more and more people see it.
