well its really simple.... installed qtirreco in my n900...and downloaded a remote for samsung LCD model and configured the buttons... then voila...its done....it works as a remote beautifully....
but yesterday i upgraded my OS to the new firmware 3.2010.02-8 .. i reinstalled the qtirreco but it didnt work....i am still trying to make it work though....not sure whats the problem

@kewlchap4u most probably because the app you using is for the previous firmware version, i think they have to update a new app. anyway can it work on any brand tv?

well i updated the app also, but it doesn't work... guess some software issue with qtirreco. i will wait for the new release of qt. well it will work for any brand, just need to download the right remote by selecting the model no. of the remote
