This is the line-up that played on the Peace Thru Vandalsm E.P. Steve Jensen: Vocals, Jan Akkerman: Guitar, Steve Pfauter: Bass, Joe Escalante: Drums. We used to play a lot of Goldenvoice concerts at the Olympic Auditorium. It's in downtown Los Angeles and it's now a Korean Church.

The idea for this song came from a drunken visit to a Stuckey's restaurant in 1982. Nice guy Jay Bentley of Bad Religion drove the Vandals out to Arizona to play with TSOL and JFA. On the way back at Stuckey's, Joe blurted out "I'll have an anarchy burger, hold the government" to the lady behind the counter. Hemade up this nonsense just to make Jay laugh. Jay laughed so hard that Joe went home and immediately made a whole song around the concept.

  • Too much fun then and now.

  • @madaikings yep...Boxing, wrestling, then gigs...Boom!

  • Thank you for the upload. This was my first concert I ever went to and it was at the Olympic. My Grandfather took me there to see boxing. When I got older I went to the Olympic to see wrestling and then I went to see these guys.

  • Steve "Human" Pfauter was my neighbor for 4 or 5 years. One of the funniest people I've ever met. Very sardonic sense of humor. Good guy.
