No matter who you cast you will never be able to capture the feelings that true fans of this show have towards to characters. I can't imagine anyone who could be the fun loving Ed, let alone finding someone to be the legendary spike. Thanks but no Hollywood

J. Gordon - Levitt?!?!?!?!

It's funny how appropriate Bruce Willis would be as Jet. Still not seeing Christina Ricci as Faye. Just not feeling that one. However, super-props for Paul Bettany as Vicious.
As for the people asking why they're bastardizing Cowboy Bebop with this film, the answer is simple: because they can. Cowboy Bebop is the kind of material that COULD be made into a good movie if handled by the right people, but it's being handled by the kind of people that see Spike and think Keanu. Sad, but unavoidable.

Did a good job putting together Edward's look, that is the spirit of the character! In the roles I've seen Chloe in (Hugo, Let me In) she plays more down-to-earth characters, so I'm really surprised, but the picture intrigues me nonetheless, I guess I'll have to find out more about the actress before I make up my mind. An improvement over Elle Fanning though. I admit I was a little surprised to see Ed not a person of color. Vicious will be fantastic as Paul Bettany, wish I had thought of that.

Don't really see anything to object to with Bruce Willis, physically he couldn't look more the part. I'm not sure about Gerard, I'd rather have Bruce I think. I think Gerard might have a tad much stud left over for Jett. Jett was almost motherly. I might put Clive Owen on the table too. I don't really want Ricci for Faye. Great pic, but she won't have the bodytype the more is shown, and probably not the acting range if her secrets come out later. This part coulda gone to a young Angelina Jolie.

Smart choice of Joseph Gordon Levitt, he never came to my mind, but he's got the disheveled, devil-may-care bearing, yet also the sense that he's thinking, though he's a man of few words he could appear like someone who has had a difficult past behind them. Oh no for Keanu Reeves though! He's much too stiff, Spike is blase, but is languid, whimsical. That would be soo forced from Keanu, he's known for a monotone bearing. I personally am still holding our for Johnny Depp. Whats wrong with him?

Of course everyone loves Bruce Willis, he looks great the part, and would deff be able to get the feel of Jett right. I still think we need a better person to play Ed.
