I think he's wearing the jacket from his "Stone in My Hand" video. Have a look at that video, the jacket kinda resembles the jacket worn by Evil Pink in The Wall.
In that particular song (not this one), the jacket was meant as a sort of generic "freedom fighter" uniform to show solidarity with those he identifies as fighting against oppression. I don't think it has US Marine Corps badges on it (certainly not cool if he didn't serve), but rather generic military-looking logos.

I knew what he was wearing was some kind of uniform or something... that explains it...
I guess he wears it for childish reasons... I actually own a maroon beret and I only wear it just because I like how they look... not because it's necessary because it's not.

well i really liked everlast. just lost some serious respect for him. Im pretty damn sure he wasnt in my Marine Corps. So I dont know why hes wearing Staff Seargent Chevrons like its the cool thing to do.
