This is a good example of how a rocket isn't supposed to launch. Jason Gibson's failed G77 redline motor launch at Fish Lake June 17th, 2007.

  • yeah, i had a similar failure with an H242T around the same time.

turns out redline and bluethunder propellant has a chemical that attacks the bonding agent in the delay grain (to keep the seal between the delay and the plastic) and aerotech has started to specially package reloads so this forward closure l blow-by doesn't happen.

next time check to see if your delay grain has a yellowish tinge. if it does it may be bad.
