Top loaders are easy to load and unload unlike a front loader especially for those of us who cannot bend. Friont loaders suffer wih mold bulid up on the rubber door seals and in the soap dispenser. Clothes come out of a front loader smelling foul becaise of the mold.

very untrue, top loaders may be energy consuming and wasteful of water but they clean alot better than a junky old frontload, these days top loads are even junk, i just want all the current washing machine brands to know that im changing alot of peoples minds on getting new washers of nay kind.I will NEVER Get a new washer, only older used maytags please send my complaints into Whirlpool corporation since they make almost all of the washers these days.
