But what the fucks up with the quality? all that fuzzy shit on the side of the video, like this is some 80s music video shot on a VHS Camera.

Ed Wood was the founding father of Indie cinerma. In the 1950s, American film making was more or less totally under the control of the studio system. If you weren't under contact to Louis B Meyer, Jack Warner etc. you couldn't make movies and if you were, your artistic vision was completely under their thumb. Ed Wood proved you could work outside the system
