  • @FreakyBornWings2 Apple didn't steal from Xerox. Apple paid Xerox just to view the Alto. Apple had no access to their code, and then Xerox invested in Apple. Microsoft stole from Mac when Steve Jobs gave Gates Mac actual prototypes. Big Difference. You totally forget the Apple Newton which pre-dates the Palm and Apps by four years. Palm influences was completely taken from Newton.

  • i love this commercial

  • Steve wasn't like Bill Gâtés. Steve was an amazing man, you van think that Microsoft is better ecc. but Bill isn't like Steve, Steve was a crazy one!

  • @Ksnoopy1 It wasn't quite like that, Xerox granted Apple access to the research and allowed them to use it at a price. Then Microsoft copied Apple.

  • PARC, a division of the Xerox company, did in fact create the GUI interface and it was copied by Apple and then Apple used it to sue Microsoft. There is a nice Arstechnia . com article about that one.

  • @dogtownmac

Yes Apple did in fact steal from Xerox.
