This project is a tribute and my way of saying farewell to Mass Effect and to my Commander Shepard. It's a collaboration with my sibling J.L. Solidum. The look of the animation was inspired by the opening credits of Casino Royale and the ending credits of 300. All in all it took us four months to make.

To create the models I relied heavily on the references posted by Troodon80 (http://troodon80.deviantart.com). They were created in various ways, some were made from scratch while others were tweaked using premade models to get the look of the silhouettes. I used Zbrush and Hexagon to do this. Some of them are also just flat images that were traced from the references and from screenshots. The rigging and animation were done in Daz Studio Pro. The scenes were rendered out as still images which were then imported to Photoshop to create the video clips. Editing and effects were done in Final Cut Pro X and Motion, respectively.

Thanks for watching!
